Alex Carlton 

Compelled by texture and an expressive reaction to nature, Alex paints landscapes and floral pieces with liberally applied Oils and is currently experimenting with Earth pigments. Her paintings exhibit the energy of expressive mark making from gloopy oil paint buttered across the surface, to scratched, carved away areas or sections delicately pressed with carefully selected materials.
